About me: I’m originally from England, but now live in Thailand. I first visited Thailand on holiday in 1999. Here I found adventure and my Esmerelda.  The next year I quit my job, and returned. I got married in 2002, and started work. I enjoy running, exploring unknown Thailand,  reading & watching Sci-Fi. And learning to fly an awesome flight sim called X-Plane.

About my blog: This used to be mainly a running blog, and some of my old posts are still there – in Archived.  I’m still running, but now I want to write about X-Plane.

About lomyen.com: This blog is part of www.lomyen.com. I started this site in 2005, because it was difficult to find English-language information about running events in Thailand.  in I created a searchable MySQL database of running events, accessed by PHP scripts. Then in 2008, I converted the running database into a Google Maps mashup. It shows full marathons, triathlons and similar events, not just in Thailand but in neighboring countries.
